Monday, August 15, 2005 Prejudice, Stereotypes, and White Ppl learning about prejudice and stereotypes in Psychology just before cramming for my Economics exam tomorrow morning and just today was like a good example of prejudice and stereotype put together in a sense. Cause my theory on stereotypes/prejudice is how you are raise and the environment you grew up in and your encounters with certain individuals that will effect that way you see the world. I personally have grown up to try to treat everyone equally, but white males have always made the worse impressions on me and I did have some white male friends and they all fall in my "theory of the white man"that I will explain myslef later. Like I'm sure most people out there have had bad experience with people of like every race right? but there should be some than stand out a lot among most of them and effect the way you think about that certain "group" or "race" of people. I personally have a landside of ways to explain why and how i dislike white males in general and always depends on their apperance, cause we all got stereotypes of people who wear baggy clothes and basketball jeresy etc.. the list goes on! "Theory of the White Man" They desire only three things - sex, alcohol and drugs =P Today's example on the streetcar from studying at the Riverdale Libaray a older white male about 20ish takes one of the single seats to the side and has his stupid legs out blocking the path way inside a relatively crowded streetcar, he hoots at a hot asian girl he sees on the street, and start drinking some blue alcoholic beverage from his bag that smelled like alchol, all he was missing was pulling out a bag of weed or a box of cigarettes hehe =P back to studying wish me luck! im out \| dreamt by Matt on 8/15/2005 07:37:00 p.m.

Prejudice, Stereotypes, and White Ppl
