Friday, January 20, 2006 Lately been up and down starting Sunday with an episode of a breakdown being sick and stressed out all week it got to me and hence I missed church =/ Not looking too bright. ACF was pretty good the mini Bible Study thing was focused on this analogy F.O.B. and no it's not Fresh Off the Boat!! but for...where are my notes! hold on!...Faith Obedience and Bible. so if you wanna follow God you should start from the bottom up Bible, by reading the Bible everyday and make yourself read it everyday to make is a habit and eventually it will be 2nd nature to you like after you learn how to ride a bike or swim you don't really forget how too after right? Read the Bible because thats what God has said and thats where we can start looking for answers to our questions and what his will for us is. The verse was 1st Corinthians 3:11 something like "no matter how hard life is, put God 1st" I don't have my Bible near me I'll have to double check on that, but it's something like that. Obedience, you have to obey God simply like follow the 10 commandments which are the basic and our leader said (Jason) the if you can't even follow God's simple rules then how can God help you with bigger things/problems. Another thing he said that kinda hit me hard was " Don't bother praying id you don't change you lifestyle or not living up to Go'd standards" well if you have God in your life you shouldn't be still doing your old habits, because you are reborn again in Christ and through him all things are possible! exams, essays, assignments! Faith, the verse was James 1:3-8 (you can look that up lol) but he said the when you pray you shouldn't doubt it and heres the classic example i think we can all relate to. I.E. It's 1 hour before you exam and you only studied like 1/2 the material and you pray to God that he'll help you wing it out during the exam. This is not a faithful prayer it's more like out of desperation and not praying whole heartedly I guess. Another example would be when you pray for something I.E. "Oh God I really like a _____(fill in the blank) if it's in you will then you'll let me have it if not then it's not" you see that you already doubt during the prayer itself so you kinda contradict yourself so don't doubt when you pray, but it's okay to admit it, but don't hide it because God can see whats in ours hearts anyways. Last point in faithfulness is when something big happens we tend to get desperate and run back to God for comfort, but we should still turn to God for all our small problems to! like when we're faced with a small problem we shouldn't make it into a big problems for example during the school year we should draw our strength from God to do out school work effectively, and not speanding more time on our school work and pushing aside say reading the Bible to make up room for it. From Albert Kong "When you have God with ou when you study for 2 hours it's equal to studying without God but it takes 10 hrs" something along the lines of that, you see with God you can use you time more effectively leaving you enough time to do other things such as working out and reading more of the Bible. I guess thats about it and my prayer request that was covered by everyone in general from my ACF and it applies to everyone I bet you! is focusing on school work, self discipline, motivation to work/read, and for some of us staying awake!!! (LOL) but yeah that applies to practically everyone and let us not fall behind from God and our school work! But during this week i've noticed that I have very very low tolerance for jokes and being accused for something I didnt do and then the person would be "just kidding" and the thing that really bugged me from a former ETer whos like rich (not bashing on you rich uptowners) but shes kinda snobby in the sense she was asking what I was listening to. well lately i've been listening to Chinese and she goes "ewwwwww" "your a FOB" i'm like WTC is wrong with you not all ppl who listen to chinese music is a fob like wtfrig seriously like white music is any better! with their "yo yo yo" "lets get drunk and do drugs and get laid" like come on at least the chinese music is more decent and they sing with more clothes on! geez it's like hating on yourself because look at your roots your Chinese TOO!! and someone else said that too jokingly that I was a FOB and i bursted out on him too. If you know me I love the LanEvo and Joy from my ACF said it doesn't look that good...and I was trying to explain I'm in love with the Evo 4,5,6 models and they don't hear me out like WTFrig wheres the respect in that what if I said your Shoes look stupid and you look stupid in them! aiiiii I dunno now a days every lil thing can get on my nerves and i will blow up easily usually on my blog, because for some reason I always hold it back in real life and burst on my blog which is a good thing but looking back sometimes i wished I yelled at the person and teach them a lesson or two about manners! argh! and I HATE Rush Hour all those stupid ppl!!!!!! sigh I'm out \| dreamt by Matt on 1/20/2006 01:47:00 a.m.
